Network Monitoring and Management

Optimising the availability and performance of network infrastructure requires continuous monitoring & analysis of all key elements associated with network WANs, LANs, switches, routers, and other network infrastructure to identify faults and performance degradation, before they affect business processes.

Network Analysis

The Gen-i Network Analysis service provides a granular view of how applications and network services are performing.  It provides reports and analysis to assist your business in understanding the performance of your ICT infrastructure, including a visualisation of applications and services right down to process and vendor association level.  In addition, live network capacity planning and profiling can assist you in assessing the network readiness for converged solutions.

The toolsets for this are primarily the Compuware ‘Network Vantage’ and ‘Application Vantage’ products.  Both products are available either as a temporary solution to meet an immediate but temporary customer need or as a Gen-i managed service.
