Paula began her career with KPMG in 1996, focussed primarily in managing Corporate Recovery clients and undertaking the studies required to become a registered Chartered Accountant. After 5 years with the company and looking for more diversified opportunities, she relocated to London and joined the European headquarters for McCann-Erickson. Her role was to seek out Mergers and Acquisitions opportunities for the company, a path which eventually led to the role of Investment Analyst with British Telecom.
In need of some investment of her own, she opted for a 12 month sabbatical which included cycling solo across Europe for 4 months and Australia for 1 month, and ascending Mount Kilimanjaro.
Finding herself back in Australia, Paula joined AAPT Finance to act as the lead investment analyst supporting the re-election of the VicOne contract. At the request of the business she then developed a Commercial Financial team to support Retail customer proposals.
Seconded across to provide commercial support on the CBA re-election activities she worked with the business during the highly successful campaign, and then took up an opportunity to take the journey with Gen-i Australia as Head of Commercial and Finance.
