John Phippen is the Head of Client Delivery, having moved from his previous role of Head of Managed and Professional Services Gen-i Australia. 

John joined Gen-i in August 2000 as Transition Manager for the original CBA transition team, responsible for migrating thirteen service lines in to Gen-i management. He has since held a variety of roles including developing and building the Project Services capability within Australia, starting with a team of two and growing to an AIPM & ISO accredited team of professionals specialising in the delivery of projects across the ICT spectrum.

Prior to joining Gen-i John held a variety of IT&T and property infrastructure consulting roles for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, primarily their Property Portfolio Y2K Programme and the design and initial implementation of IPNeT. Before that, he held various roles within CSC including Site Manager for the ICT outsourcing contract for Maritime Headquarters and Programme Manager for the deployment of the Australian Navy’s Base Area Networks project.
