Working most recently as Sales Director for BT Global Services Australia and New Zealand based in Sydney, Ben Fursman was responsible for building BT’s Account Management and Sales capabilities in support of locally based multi national enterprise customers. He also sat on the Asia Pacific Sales leadership team, where Ben had regional responsibility for Sale’s involvement on Customer Service Improvement and worked in India on the region’s first successful major Indian acquisition.
Before this role Ben worked for BT 4 years in London and was responsible for Europe, Middle East and Africa Sales to Financial Services customers of BT’s Systems Integration business Syntegra. During this time he worked to the global Managing Director and was involved in organizational change programmes to simplify and align Syntegra’s capabilities with customers businesses.
Before heading to London he held a General Management role of BT’s Financial Markets business in Australia and has had Account Management roles with NEC Australia, prior to moving to a Sales role, Ben worked in Engineering and was with NEC Information Systems in Australia managing their Field Service and Repair Centre operations for the northern region based in Brisbane.
Ben is a graduate of the University of Southern Queensland and holds an Associate Diploma in Electronic Engineering where his specialist field was Electronics, as well as a Bachelor of Business, Double Major in Economics and Marketing. Ben has 30 years experience working in the ICT sector.
