Alex Lawrie is Head of Human Resources for Gen-i Australia. In this role, Alex partners with the business on all strategic and operational HR activities including leading the people strategies which underpin our ICT managed services contracts. The Gen-i Australia Human Resources team focus on building leadership capability, career development and driving talent management strategies to ensure we have the right people, the right capability and right culture to ensure we deliver for our clients.

Alex has worked with Gen-i Australasia and across other parts of the Telecom Group since 2006. Prior to joining Telecom, Alex held senior human resources positions across the Financial Services, FMCG and Government sectors in both Australia and New Zealand for organisations including AMP Financial Services, Coca-Cola Amatil and the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.

Alex has tertiary qualifications in Commerce (Marketing & Commercial Law) from Curtin University and Management from Waikato University.
